This is the time of the year when gifts are given to friends and loved ones. It’s always exciting to see the reaction when someone receives a gift that really means a lot.

Every year, Tenderfeet has a uniform fundraiser where you have the chance to give just such a present to a deserving child. After a recent visit I made to Tenderfeet, it was so clear to me that the gifts given through this fundraiser mean the world to these children.

The families of the children earn one to two dollars per day, so the cost of a new uniform is more than a month’s earnings.
